custom wordpress website design
Custom web design that sells your business before you ever enter the conversation.
You close the work once someone calls. Your website handles everything before that, from figuring out what you do to deciding whether you’re worth the call.
Written for you, not by you
One guided form and a couple of hours of your input. Content written around your voice.
Structured around the order people ask
Which service someone came for, what they need to know next, and how they say yes.
Yours at launch, with no monthly fee
The site, the domain and every login stay in your name. No monthly fees to keep it online.
Before The Call
Any of this sound familiar?
The same questions come up on every call
If people keep asking what you cover, how soon you can start, or roughly what it costs, the site is not answering it. Those calls should be shorter than they are.
Your site is giving mid-2010s
The services changed. The pricing changed. The way people search the internet changed. But your site stayed where it was, still selling something you have moved past.
You explain the business before you send the link
Adding context in a text message before sharing your own website is the clearest signal there is. Your website should be doing that part.
The site does not follow your customer's journey
Someone wants to know whether your services match what they need, fast. Confusing navigation or page flow makes that answer harder to get and the next step easier to abandon.
Custom Web Design Services
None of that is a design problem.
A new design on the same structure loses the same people. Custom website design starts with the order: which service someone came for, what they need to know first, and what happens next.
Plenty of sites get traffic and still go quiet. Six form fields where three would do. A booking system parked on somebody else’s domain. A phone number as the only way to say yes at 9pm on a Sunday. Booking, inquiry forms and quoting tools get built in, so saying yes stops depending on office hours.
If an outdated website already has content, pages or search visibility worth keeping, the website redesign keeps what works and rebuilds the rest.
Existing Elementor site? Done-in-a-Day websites may be the faster route.
See a redesign direction before you book.
Send your current website and get a custom homepage direction back, so you can see how the visual hierarchy, content and conversion path could be handled before committing to a full project.
The hardest part is finding your logo file.
Every part of the project workflow is organized and in phases to meet the time constraints of busy service business owners. Typically a few hours on your part is all that’s required.
Your Job
Photos, logo and anything you already have
These go into a shared project folder. Rough is fine. Old brochures, headshots, a logo file, whatever exists.
One guided form about the business
It walks through services, customers, the questions you answer on every call, and how you want to sound. About an hour, and you can save it and come back.
Booking widgets and account access
Send any booking or scheduling embeds, and grant access to the accounts the site needs to connect to: your domain, Google Business Profile, booking platform or other integrations.
Two rounds of feedback
You review the working site and say what changes. Any content on it can change during those rounds.
My Job
Research and the page plan
Competitor review, search demand and your form answers decide which pages exist and what each one has to answer.
Every word on the site
The copy gets written from your answers. No blank documents. No placeholder text left for you to replace later.
Design, build and search setup
The custom WordPress website design gets built around the copy. Headings, metadata, internal links, mobile responsiveness, Search Console and your Google Business Profile are handled before launch.
Forms, booking and anything behind the scenes
The WordPress web design covers the parts that have to keep working after launch: inquiry forms, booking, integrations and the settings nobody wants to think about again.

Your website content should sound like you on a good day.
You call it hydro jetting. Your customer types “drain keeps backing up.” You are both describing the same Tuesday morning in two languages that never meet.
Most people assume hiring a WordPress web design company means showing up with finished copy, organized files and a plan. You don’t. The project is structured so your part stays to a few hours of input, account access and feedback.
The content collection form gets your half – how formal you want to sound, what you would never claim about your own work, the words you use when nobody is being sold to. Competitor sites and search data get the other half. Every page gets written in the space between, which is why the content reads like you and still turns up when someone searches the other way.
Quarterly SEO work is available after launch.
WordPress Without Monthly Fees
Most of what you are comparing is a rental.
Some website plans sound inexpensive until you find out you are paying indefinitely for a site you cannot take with you. I build on WordPress, and the website stays yours.

Looking better was never the whole point.
The goal is a website that changes something for the business. For these clients, that meant more search visibility, stronger engagement and rankings that continued to hold long after launch.

know Before You Book
What to know before booking custom web design.
How much does a custom website cost for a small business?
Most custom projects land at $3,500 or above. Where yours sits depends on how many pages the site needs and what has to work behind them. Payment plans are available. If the budget is smaller, semi-custom websites are the lower-investment option.
How long does a custom website take to build?
That depends on the project scope and how quickly materials and the content form come back. Once I have everything I need, most sites get completed within three to five weeks.
Can you redesign my existing WordPress site?
Yes, and most projects here are rebuilds rather than first sites. Anything worth keeping gets kept, including content, photos and pages that already earn traffic. The rest gets replaced.
Do I own my website after it is built?
Yes, 100%. The site, the domain, the hosting and every login are yours at launch, along with training videos for your own WordPress dashboard. Ownership does not depend on staying on a service plan.
Do you design on Squarespace or Wix?
No. I design on WordPress with Elementor Pro. It allows for more control over the design, content, SEO, integrations and how the site can grow over time than platforms like Squarespace or Wix. If you are on either, or any other platform, your domain can be moved to point to a WordPress site from any domain registrar.
What if I break something or need more involved website updates later?
You are not left to figure it out alone after launch. Small questions or fixes can be handled as they come up, and more involved changes such as new pages, integrations or site updates can be booked as additional work when you need them. You do not have to stay on a monthly website maintenance plan to have access to support. As-needed support is billed at $75/hour.
