Website Design for Law Firms
Website design for law firms that want to be the first call.
Nobody plans to need a lawyer. It starts with a certified letter, a call from an adjuster or a court date written on a sticky note. By the time they're searching at 11pm, they want to know two things. Can this firm help me? And how fast can I talk to someone?

Attorney Website Design
Your clients don't search the way you talk.
They type what happened to them. They have no idea it's called relocation or uninsured motorist, and they shouldn't need to. Attorney website design starts with their words, then connects them to the attorney who handles it.
- can my ex move the kids out of state, called relocation
- rear-ended other driver has no insurance, called an uninsured motorist claim
- got served divorce papers what now, called a divorce response
- fired after reporting my manager, called retaliation
Practice areas in their words
One page for each kind of case.
Where the firm takes cases
No one has to call to ask if you cover their county.
Who calls them back

Law Firm Web Design Options
A firm of one needs a different site than a firm of twelve.
A solo practice with three practice areas fits the law firm template just fine. When the site needs more than the template holds, like more practice areas, more attorneys, a second office or a site that already ranks, it's time for a custom plan.
Done-For-You Template
The law firm template
A quick-launch site that's already designed. I restyle it to your brand, write the copy and launch it. All you do is fill out the intake form and supply the images.
Solo attorneys and small firms.
Custom Build
A custom law firm website
Every page planned around your practice areas, attorneys, offices and how intake works.
Sites with more pages or features than the template holds, or a redesign with rankings to protect.
Done-For-You Law Firm Template
Already designed around how firms get hired.
Practice areas, attorney bios, results and a consultation path are already in the layout. You fill out the intake form. I write the copy, connect Clio Grow, Lawmatics, Calendly or whichever intake tool you use and launch it. The five-page version includes Home, Practice Areas, Attorneys & About, Case Results and Contact.

What comes standard with Sprout Marketing & Design.

Legal Website Design
Your bar rules still apply online.
Case results, client reviews, the word "specialist." Every state has its own rules about what a firm can say, and the website counts. Proof gets laid out so it's easy to find, and the final wording is always yours to approve.
-
Bios with context
Credentials, plus the cases each attorney takes and who they take them for.
-
Results with the fine print attached
Results and reviews sit right next to the disclaimers your state requires. You supply the facts and approve the wording.
-
A contact form that asks less
Some forms ask for the whole story before anyone has run a conflict check. Name, number and one sentence is plenty until intake takes over.
Optional Add-Ons
Other things firms usually ask about.

SEO and more content
More practice area pages, local pages, blog posts or someone keeping an eye on search after launch.

Logo and branding
If the logo was designed the year the firm opened, it might be time.

How is web design for law firms different from other websites?
Mostly the rules and the stakes. With lawyer website design, there are advertising rules to follow and intake to protect, and the people finding the site are usually having a rough week. Everything else is good design.
Can you redesign our site without losing the pages that rank?
Yes. Every old URL gets mapped and redirected before launch, and pages that bring in traffic stay put or move on purpose. Nobody can promise rankings won't shift, but nothing gets dropped by accident.
Who checks the site against attorney advertising rules?
You do. I write the copy and lay out the proof, and the firm signs off on every claim, result and disclaimer before launch.
What do you need from us?
A filled-out intake form, your logo and photos, and any approved results, reviews or disclaimers. The form asks the questions, so nobody's staring at a blank page.
Can the site be in more than one language?
Yes. Tools like Weglot, WPML or GTranslate add any language your clients speak to the same site. Someone at the firm should review legal terms and disclaimers in each one.
Will the contact form work with our intake software?
Usually. Intake and scheduling tools like Clio Grow, Lawmatics and Calendly can be connected or embedded. Setup inside those platforms is quoted separately.
Can the firm's site have a blog?
Yes. I can set up the blog and write the posts, or set it up so you can write your own. Posts I write get keyword research before they go live, the same as any new page.
Can we add practice area pages later?
Yes. When the firm takes on a new practice area, it gets its own page. I research how people search for it, write the page and link it from your practice areas. New pages are quoted separately.
Not sure which one fits your firm?
